LME Announces Exchange Fee Increase

The LME has announced an exchange fee increase for their 30 minute delayed feed service. The new exchange fee beginning January 1st, 2008 is 84 British Pounds Sterling (USD $170) per year.

Exchange fees are a very important source of income for the LME. Metalprices.com is required by contract to pay this fee for each subscriber each month. We're also required to submit a monthly honesty statement accounting for each subscriber and remain available for audit at any time. It's therefore necessary for Metalprices.com to pass these exchange fee increases through to our subscribers.

Effective immediately the Metalprices.com subscription rate for 30 minute Delayed LME service is $520/year. Additional Employees are now $285/year. More than 5 employees are discounted further.

If you do not need 30 Minute Delayed LME prices, you can subscribe to our "Day Old LME" service for $350/year (additional Employees $175/year). This service includes all the benefits of full subscription except today's LME prices are not revealed until 12:00 AM (Midnight) British Standard Time (BST). The LME does not require an exchange fee for this "Day Old" data.
